By accessing or using The Catholic Zone, you agree to these Terms.
The Catholic Zone is a project of The Catholic Navigator LLC, a for-profit company.
Purpose of the Platform
The Catholic Zone provides tools for:
- discovering Catholic events and activities, and
- facilitating communication and coordination between adults.
The Platform is informational and communicative in nature. It does not organize, host, supervise, or operate events.
Eligibility
The Catholic Zone is intended for adults.
By using the Platform, you represent that you are legally an adult in your jurisdiction and capable of exercising independent judgment and responsibility.
Events and User Content
Event listings, messages, and other content on the Platform are created by users.
The Catholic Zone:
- does not verify the accuracy of event listings,
- does not vet hosts or participants,
- and does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or appropriateness of any event.
All participation in events is voluntary and undertaken at your own discretion.
Hosting Events
Users who choose to host events are solely responsible for:
- the content they post,
- how events are conducted,
- communications with participants,
- and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Hosting an event through The Catholic Zone does not create any partnership, agency, or endorsement relationship with The Catholic Zone or The Catholic Navigator LLC.
Participation and Risk
Participation in any event listed on the Platform is at your own risk.
The Catholic Zone and The Catholic Navigator LLC are not responsible for:
- personal injury,
- property damage,
- loss,
- disputes,
- or any other outcomes arising from participation in events.
Users are responsible for exercising good judgment and taking appropriate precautions.
Discord Community
Use of the Discord community server is subject to:
- these Terms,
- the Community Guidelines published on the website,
- and Discord’s own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
The Catholic Zone is not responsible for the operation, availability, or policies of Discord.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Platform to:
- harass, threaten, or exploit others,
- misrepresent events or identities,
- collect personal information improperly,
- or engage in unlawful or deceptive conduct.
The Catholic Zone reserves the right to restrict access, remove content, or take other action when use of the Platform undermines its purpose or violates these Terms.
Intellectual Property
Content and materials created by The Catholic Zone, including branding, text, and design elements, are the property of The Catholic Navigator LLC unless otherwise stated.
User-generated content remains the property of its respective creators, but by submitting content, you grant The Catholic Zone a non-exclusive right to display and distribute it in connection with operating the Platform.
Payments and Support
Any financial contributions or support made through the Platform are voluntary.
Payments are processed by third-party providers such as Stripe. The Catholic Zone does not store payment card information and is not responsible for payment processor services.
Contributions are not tax-deductible.
Disclaimers
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.”
The Catholic Zone makes no warranties regarding:
- uninterrupted access,
- accuracy of content,
- or suitability of events or services.
Use of the Platform is at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Catholic Zone and The Catholic Navigator LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to use of the Platform or participation in events.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Catholic Zone and The Catholic Navigator LLC from claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:
- your use of the Platform,
- your content,
- or your participation in events.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated as the Platform evolves.
Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which The Catholic Navigator LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
